In 2023 Accufab will celebrate its 32nd year in business. Founder Tyrous Ward started Accufab in a 20'x30' shop at his house in 1991. The company began to grow immediately and moved into a 3,000 square foot industrial suite. He quickly expanded into 3,000 SF space in the suite next door to grow to 6,000 square feet. In the year 2000 Accfuab purchased a 16,000 square foot facility in Alpharetta. In 2008 the company needed more space and purchased a 25,000 square foot facility in Cumming. In 2016 the company need additional space and added 5,000 square foot space to the existing building. In 2022 the company needed additional space again and leased another 5,000 square feet in a nearby building.

Bystronic Xpert 150 Dynamic
MTC - Modular Tool Changer
Bystronic Xpert 150 Dynamic with Automatic tool changer:
Accufab installed this advanced technology press brake in the 4th quarter of 2021. This 10 foot, 150 ton press brake is Bystronic highest speed brake available. It has an extended height opening of 33" and is programed offline with Bysoft 7 programing software. This machine also includes their MTC (Modular Tool Changer). This tool changer has a robotic arm that automatically changes tools between jobs. Once a job is complete the automatic tool changer begins changing tools while the operator is delivering the completed job to the next operation. When the operator arrives back at the machine, it is ready for the next job. The MTC stores and inventories 180 feet of a variety of press brake tooling. We are very pleased with reduce setup time and increased production adding this type technology to our existing press brake capabilities. This link shows the robot tool changer in action.
Bystronic Xpert 80
Also in the winter of 2021 Accufab installed this Bystronic Xpert 80 press Brake. This high speed brake replaced an older, slower press brake. This brake has 5 foot of bend length and is operates with 80 tons. It also is programed offline with Bysoft programing software. This machine doubled the through put from old machine.
Haeger One Touch Hardware Insertion Machine
In the spring of 2022 Accufab installed a Haeger One Touch hardware insertion machine. This machine is equipped with 4 auto feed bowls and is our second machine of this type in production. These two machines are the work horses of our 5 hardware insertion machines in service.
